Heelwork to Music
Helen Dennis, a Heelwork to Music instructor, has recently commenced a series of Heelwork to Music courses in Derby.
The courses, which include 'Fun Freestyle', aimed at teaching specific Freestyle moves, and 'Strictly Heelwork to Music', focussing upon using Freestyle to link positions, are being held at the Chris Briggs Dog training Centre - directions here.

I am married to Paul and have a son called Matthew. I had my first dog when I was in my teens. I have owned and trained an Irish Setter, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Border collies and competed with them in fun shows, obedience and in both freestyle and heelwork to music competitions. I currently have three dogs, an Irish Setter called Bonnie (retired) and two working sheepdogs Blaise and Maia. Blaise is now competing at advanced level in freestyle. Maia my youngest dog has started competing in obedience and heelwork to music this year.

I am a qualified judge of heelwork to music. My other interests include; showing Shire Horses and dressage with thoroughbreds, I am a 3rd degree Black Belt in Ju-Jitsu and a qualified assistant coach. My other hobbies include drawing and oil painting and I have recently joined a Salsa class with my husband. After doing two tandem parachute jumps I will be joining my husband and son to take a parachute course.
